Semi-Automatic Systems

Semi-automatic systems offer fully automatic systems features except for the following ;‘Sliding sleeve’ type station.

When user desires to send a carrier, he dials destination on keypad. Control unit displays a message if a transaction to his station is in memory. In this case, user must wait until carrier has arrived, takes incoming carrier out of the station, before dialing destination. 

c) User slides sleeve up and inserts carrier into station. A device will insure no second carrier will be sent during this transaction. 

e) Stations can have a transaction priority order.

ADVANTAGES 
Slidind sleeves stations cost less than frame type stations.
Stations are compact and can be recessed in 6’’ wall.
Controler offers all features available on fully automatic systems.

DISADVANTAGES 
1) Carrier support is necessary.
User could have to dial transaction more than once if a transaction is already in memory to this station.

SEMI-AUTOMATIC PNEUMATIC TUBE SYSTEMS
(BASIC CONTROLS)
The basic control of a semi-automatic system shows the following features ;

ERROR MANAGEMENT
Locates the origin of a fatal error that will keep the system out of use.

MANUAL MODE
Allows to allign divertors towards any stations. Controls blowers, or air shifter, so transmission line is in vacuum or pressure mode. 

RESET
Permits to reset all diverters, when an error occurs.

DIVERTERS STATE
Shows errors on divertors. 

STATIONS STATE 
Shows full station, this station can not receive untill carriers are taken out. (optical detector allows 4 to 5 carriers in station, limited by distance to ceiling)

TRANSACTION
Shows last transaction, dispatch and destination stations are shown. 

CONTROLS - OPTIONS 
Remote supervision of transactions is possible on PC, at any point in your building.
PC can also be connected to a modem and installed inside or outside your building.
The supervision can then be made by Conceptions M.G., from our office in Montréal, or by any firm you will choose.

Graphic display (status of system) is offered.
